STORY SUMMARY

Brilliant but embittered surgeon Dr. Andre Crespi harbors a festering hatred for Dr. Stephen Ross, the rival who married the woman he loved. When Ross is brought to Crespi's hospital in need of emergency surgery, Crespi seizes his chance for revenge: he administers a secret drug that mimics death while leaving his victim fully conscious, intending to have him buried alive. As a suspicious colleague begins to investigate, a night of mounting terror unfolds.
