Here Comes Tobor (1957) is a rare and short-lived television series based on the feature film Tobor the Great. Produced by Ivan Tors — the mind behind *Sea Hunt* and *Science Fiction Theater* — the show follows a boy genius and his robot companion, Tobor, as they foil spies, protect scientific secrets, and explore futuristic technologies of the atomic age.
Directed by Lee Sholem, this early Cold-War era science-fiction adventure captures the optimism and wonder of 1950s television. Only a handful of episodes were completed, but the surviving five have become collector favorites and are now available from verified public-domain sources.
